Visionaries Film Festival is the best film festival for young filmmakers. Our program favors submissions by high school and college students as well as recent college graduates, but we also accept submissions from professionals.
Submissions deadlines are listed under each submission category on FilmFreeway. Early entry is encouraged but in no way guarantees acceptance.
Films must be submitted via FilmFreeway online screener in order to be properly viewed and judged. Please DO NOT mail submission DVDs of your film.
All submissions must have been completed after January 1st, 2017. All films must be in English or subtitled in English. Films must not have been commercially screened in the US, or available for video or internet distribution prior to the 2nd Annual Visionaries Film Festival. There is no premiere policy for submission.
The fees are selected based on deadlines.
If accepted, films must be able to provide a digital file of their film (.mov/.mp4).
Filmmakers will be notified of their film(s) submission status ON or BY the listed notification date on FilmFreeway. If there are any issues or incomplete submissions, you will be notified. This Notification date may be subject to change.
