Vidur Bahl is a New York City–based writer, director, cinematographer, and editor originally from New Delhi. With a body of work spanning over 20 short films, including his directorial projects The Building Blocks of a Bridge and ARTEFACTS, Vidur has developed a practice rooted in visually driven, emotionally grounded storytelling. His films often blend a slice-of-life sensibility with a focus on the tactile—frequently utilizing a mix of 16mm and digital formats to explore themes of family, migration, and identity. By finding the extraordinary in the everyday, Vidur’s work invites audiences to inhabit intimate, dream-like spaces where the weight of the past meets the demands of the present.
