Vernon Alfredo Davidson was born in Chicago and started his career with a BA in Film Studies from the University of Illinois. After graduating, Vernon furthered his education in production, theater and comedy at Chicago’s famed Second City, all while working as a production assistant on film and commercial sets. After moving to Los Angeles, Vernon was awarded an apprenticeship at the prestigious DGA Producer's Training Program, catapulting him to the position of Assistant Director. After ten years of unique film experiences that have taken him everywhere from a remote Indian reservation in Montana, to the crowded streets of Bangkok, and even a film festival in Cannes, Vernon was promoted to Production Manager and has worked on a range of television shows, including The Goldbergs, Snowfall, and Justified. Vernon has also produced features which include Handsome: A Netflix Mystery Movie and Segal. In addition to his work as a producer, he has had the pleasure of directing on projects such as The Goldbergs, SEGAL and Performance Review for which he won the best comedy short at the North Hollywood Film Festival.
