Venice Lagoon Wave Film Festival

1) All genres are accepted. Foreign language films must be subtitled in English or Italian.
2) Maximum film duration: 20 minutes (including credits).
3) All genre films will accepted.
4) Submissions in languages other than Italian must be subtitled in English or Italian
5) The film production could be from any year.
6) The festival has the right to disqualify or remove any winning film for any reasons. Explanations will be given to the submitter.
7) The Festival reserves the right to make any necessary changes in regulations or scheduling.
8) Any Short Movies, selected or not selected, will be a decision of selection panel which is final and accepted by all.
9) Every film selected in each edition of the "Venice Lagoon Wave Film Festival" gives authorization to the festival association to use up to 30 seconds of film and soundtrack for promotional purposes of the same Festival.

VENICE LAGOON ORIGINALS – DISTRIBUTION & PRODUCTION AWARD

This award is reserved for one selected short film project.

The award is intended to support both the production and the festival distribution of the winning project.

The total grant of €4,000 is divided as follows:

€2,000 Production Grant

€2,000 Distribution & Promotion Grant

The winning project will be selected by the Festival Direction.

The rights of the film remain with the author(s) and/or producer(s).

By accepting the award, the winners grant the Venice Lagoon Wave Film Festival the right to use the film and related materials for promotional, cultural and archival activities of the festival.

SUBMISSION FORMAT:
WE PREFER SECURE ONLINE SUBMISSIONS IN HIGH DEFINITION. Not only is this a more environmentally friendly method for us, but it also allows your film to be reviewed by our screeners/reviewers as quickly as possible.

AFTER SUBMISSION ACCEPTANCE:

In order for your title to be included in the Festival, you must agree to provide the following materials within 14 days of acceptance:

1. One screen shot of a scene within the project and key art/ poster (if available). Image must be in JPG or PNG format and AT LEAST 300 dpi resolution.

2. A trailer of the film emailed to us in .MP4 or MOV,format to promote your project on our website and social media.

3. Exhibition format of your project no later than 14 days after acceptance.

4. Copies of press releases and additional press materials after acceptance ONLY, please do not send with submissions before you're accepted.

5. If you are available to attend the festival with crew and/or talent, please let us know. Once accepted into the festival, we will also send you an online form asking you who will be attending.

Submitting your film does not guarantee festival acceptance or screening.

5) La produzione del film può essere di qualsiasi anno.
6) Il festival si riserva il diritto di squalificare o rimuovere qualsiasi film vincitore per qualsiasi motivo. Le spiegazioni saranno fornite all'autore del film.
7) Il Festival si riserva il diritto di apportare qualsiasi modifica al regolamento o alla programmazione.
8) Qualsiasi cortometraggio, selezionato o meno, sarà una decisione della giuria che è definitiva e accettata da tutti.
9) Ogni film selezionato in ogni edizione del "Venice Lagoon Wave Film Festival" autorizza l'associazione del festival a utilizzare fino a 30 secondi di film e colonna sonora per scopi promozionali del festival stesso.
10) Questo premio è riservato a un solo progetto di cortometraggio selezionato.

Il premio è finalizzato a sostenere sia la produzione sia la distribuzione festivaliera del progetto vincitore.

Il contributo complessivo di €4.000 è suddiviso come segue:

€2.000 – Production Grant

€2.000 – Distribution & Promotion Grant

Il progetto vincitore sarà selezionato dalla Direzione del Festival.

I diritti dell’opera restano di proprietà dell’autore o degli autori e/o dei produttori.

Con l’accettazione del premio, i vincitori concedono al Venice Lagoon Wave Film Festival il diritto di utilizzare il film e i relativi materiali per attività promozionali, culturali e di archivio del festival.

FORMATO DI PRESENTAZIONE:
PREFERIAMO INVII ONLINE SICURI E IN ALTA DEFINIZIONE. Questo non solo è un metodo più ecologico per noi, ma permette anche al vostro film di essere esaminato dai nostri selezionatori/revisori il più rapidamente possibile.

DOPO L'ACCETTAZIONE DELLA PRESENTAZIONE:

Affinché il vostro titolo sia incluso nel Festival, dovete accettare di fornire i seguenti materiali entro 10 giorni dall'accettazione:

1.Un poster del cortometraggio.
L'immagine deve essere in formato JPG o PNG e con una risoluzione di almeno 300 dpi.

2. Un trailer del film inviatoci via email in formato .Mp4 per promuovere il tuo progetto sul nostro sito web e sui social media.

3. Il tuo progetto in formato mp4 o mov sull'indirizzo email ufficiale del festival

Presentare il vostro film non garantisce l'accettazione o la proiezione al festival.
