The fourth of the short film event themed "Animal Freedom" organized by Vegan Çiftlik will be held on May 28-31, 2026.

The purpose of the festival is to encourage the production of and provide a space for sharing short films and video artworks that draw attention to the violations of rights in farms, slaughterhouses, laboratories, zoos, circuses, natural habitats and many other areas in line with human desires, and the fact that even the most basic rights of animals are not recognized in the legal plane by being seen as property.

The works sent to the Festival will be displayed at the camp that will be held at Vegan Çiftlik between May 28-31, 2026.

Awards & Prizes

Vegan Çiftlik Short Film Festival is not a festival with prize money. An honour award is given to a film selected by the festival jury.

Rules & Terms

All works in the genres of short films (fictional/contemporary/experimental) in line with the festival theme; that do not have speciesist, racist, LGBTI+ phobic, sexist, and other discriminatory discourses; produced in the last 2 years can participate in the festival.

    We were so happy to be selected in this festival with our shortfilm. Sadly we couldn't make it to Turkey but the colmunication with the team was really good and efficient ! hope we'll come and see this place next year
