Valentine Ezavin is a French director born in 1994 in Nice. Her practice lies between documentary and video art. The call to contemplation and the quest for authenticity of the subjects filmed are recurrent characteristics within her work. Her latest documentaries 2001 CLOSES, (2018) and Au revoir tristesse, (2015) have been screened in various festivals, notably at the Rendez-vous Québec Cinéma.
After studying at the University of Montreal in Cinema and Digital Arts, she worked between Montreal, Barcelona and Paris.
