I began my studying at Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts alongside the world's new most harrowing historical events: my first year in 2020 was interrupted by the COVID-19 epidemic, and on mine third year in 2022 russia's full-scale war against Ukraine began. These events affected my student life, mostly spent at home on online classes. Nevertheless, such conditions helped me to form my own artistic vision by watching many independent films and working on my own projects.
In 2023, I filmed my graduate work “The Return” about the life of a queer boy with religious trauma amid a full-scale war in Ukraine. This short feature film was defended at the university and acquired my bachelor's degree. “The Return” had it’s premiere at Lviv International Short Film Festival Wiz-Art and later was shown on Sunny Bunny LGBTQ+ Film Festival, Mykolaichuk OPEN Audience Film Festival, GAZE International LGBTQIA Film Festival and others.
