We believe in cinema as an effective tool to inform and raise awareness about the environment, supporting transformative actions for the planet. ViaNatur is aware of the environment, wants to address issues of vital importance, creating a space for educational reflection and criticism, with the audiovisual as a fundamental element in all its genres and formats.
The Festival will celebrate its second edition from June 26 to 29, 2025 in Viana de Cega, province of Valladolid, Spain, as well as through our digital platforms.
Faithful to our commitment to our environment, in this 2025 edition, ViaNatur seeks to focus on the importance of pollinators, pollination, which is a relevant topic with great impact worldwide, since 75% of food crops depend on insect pollination.
ViaNatur is independent in its proposals and is very committed to the audiovisual world as an industry, opening cinema screens to diverse audiences with socio-environmental themes that bring us problems which are common to all of us and they also provide us with solutions.
The prizes awarded by the festival will be:
• Best animated short film.
• Best fiction short film.
• Best documentary short film.
• Best documentary short film “ViaNatur Joven”.
