16º FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE CINE DE MONTAÑA USHUAIA SHH…
Bases y condiciones para la Inscripción 2022
1. Podrán participar productoras y/o cineastas profesionales y/o aficionados; argentinos o extranjeros.
2. Se aceptarán obras de ficción, documental, animación y/o experimental que luego podrán ser seleccionadas para sección de muestra o sección de competencia.
3. Las obras presentadas podrán abarcar los siguientes temas:
* La montaña y las actividades del hombre en ella
* El polo norte y sur
* La cordillera de los Andes
* Aventura
* Hielo y nieve
* Naturaleza y Medio Ambiente
* Vida Social y Etnología
* Exploración y Expediciones
* Deportes de montaña
Las obras que no se refieran a los temas del Festival serán excluidas, sin apelación.
4. Las películas competirán por los siguientes premios:
Mejor Largometraje
Mejor Cortometraje
Mejor Aventura
Mejor Personaje
Mejor Fotografía
Premio al Cine en los Andes
Premio del Público
Premio CINE.AR (exclusivo para cortometrajes producidos en Argentina)
5. El formulario de inscripción debe ser enviado a través de la página web del festival www.shhfestival.com o de la Alianza https://www.mountainfilmalliance.org/, o bien a través de los portales de inscripción Festhome, Click for Festivals o FilmFreeway antes del 15/04/2020. Luego de esta fecha, la Organización no asume la responsabilidad de aceptar la película para su selección.
6. Cada obra debe presentarse acompañada de:
a. Enlace de visualización de Trailer de la película (2 – 3 min.)
b. Enlace de visualización y enlace de descarga de la película.
c. El idioma oficial del Festival es Español. Por tal motivo la selección de películas extranjeras que no posean subtítulos en Español quedará sujeta a la posibilidad del Festival de realizar los subtítulos. Las mismas deberán enviar el libreto en un archivo .srt con los subtítulos en Inglés.
d. Las películas extranjeras deberán presentar certificado de CLASIFICACIÓN para exhibición pública: ATP – MAYORES 16 años – MAYORES 13 años. G/PG/ PG-13/ PG-13/ R/ NC-17/NR ó Unrated
e. 3-4 fotografías ilustrativas, (300 dpi, jpg), para libre uso del Festival Ushuaia SHH…
f. Ficha técnica, sinopsis, currículo y filmografía del director. En caso de no poder enviar un enlace de descarga de dichos materiales a través del formulario de inscripción de la Web, se pueden remitir por correo a info@shhfestival.com y/o festivalshh@gmail.com .
7. Es condición indispensable para la inscripción al Festival Internacional de Cine de Montaña USHUAIA SHH…que los derechos de propiedad intelectual y de exhibición pública de la obra presentada sean de titularidad del participante inscripto.
El inscripto se compromete y garantiza que tiene todos los derechos y autoridad para exhibir el material y que no existe limitación legal, contractual, ni de cualquier otra índole que pudiera restringir y/o interferir y/o impedir el más amplio y libre ejercicio por parte de los organizadores de aquellos derechos que puedan derivarse directa y/o indirectamente de lo estipulado anteriormente, en particular con relación a la facultad de exhibir públicamente la obra presentada.
El inscripto se compromete a mantener indemne a los organizadores, frente a cualquier reclamo y/o encausada contra los organizadores por cualquier tercero alegando directa o indirectamente que los derechos sobre la obra, violan y/o interfieren y/o limitan y/o de cualquier otra manera lesionan un nombre comercial y/o una marca y/o un copyright y/o un derecho de propiedad intelectual o industrial, de un tercero.
8. Informamos a todos los participantes que las películas seleccionadas serán proyectadas como parte de la programación de la 16° edición del Festival USHUAIA SHH… a realizarse en Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, durante el 2022 y podrán ser utilizadas en la promoción general del USHUAIA SHH… a menos que la objeción por escrito se remita al Organizador en el formulario de inscripción. El festival pretende ser desarrollado con proyecciones en sala de cine, visualización virtual en el sitio web del festival con geobloqueo para América del Sur (Argentina, Bolivia, Brasil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Perú, Uruguay, Venezuela, Islas Malvinas, y Antártida), y/o proyecciones de autocine. Asegúrese de aceptar todos o alguna de estas modalidades al momento de inscribir la película.
9. La Dirección del Festival USHUAIA SHH… se reserva el derecho de selección de las obras que integrarán la programación del Festival en la sección de muestras, competencia por el premio Cine en los Andes y competencia internacional. Asimismo la Dirección determina la sección en la cual participa y establece el orden y fecha de proyección.
10. La Dirección del Festival Internacional de Cine de Montaña USHUAIA SHH… designará los miembros del jurado para las Competencias.
11. La decisión del Jurado será inapelable.
12. Todo aspecto no contemplado por este reglamento será resuelto por los organizadores, cuando circunstancias no previstas lo justifiquen.
13. El participar del Festival USHUAIA SHH… implica el conocimiento y aceptación de todos los puntos anteriormente planteados, bases y condiciones propuestas por la Organización.

The participation is open and free of charge, for Argentinian or foreign producers or filmmakers, professionals or amateurs.
Fiction, documentary, animation and / or experimental films might be accepted and selected for competition or exhibition sections.
The works submitted may cover the following topics:
* The mountain and the activities of man in it
* The north and south pole
* Andes range
* Adventure
* Ice and snow
* Nature and Environment
* Social Life and Ethnology
* Exploration and Expeditions.
* Mountaineering
Works that do not relate to the themes of the Festival will be excluded, without appeal.
The selected movies will compete for the next awards:
Best Film
Best Shortfilm
Best Adventure
Best Character
Best Photography
Andes Film’s Award
People ́s choice Award
Premio CINE.AR (exclusive for short films produced in Argentina)
The ENTRY FORM must be received through the web site www.shhfestival.com or https://www.mountainfilmalliance.org/ and or Festhome, Click for Festivals and FilmFreeway sites, by 2022/04/15. After this date, the Organization assumes no responsibility to preserve the film for selection.
Each entry must be accompanied by:
a. Film Trailer (2-3 minutes).
b. A link to see and a link to download the film in a high definition digital media file .mov or .mp4 which will be retained for the archives of Ushuaia SHH...
c. The official language of Ushuaia SHH… Festival is Spanish. The selection of the films that are not able to send Spanish subtitles depends on the possibility of the Festival of making them. Those who can’t sent Spanish subtitles, must send the script in an .srt file in English.
d. Three or four photos of the film (300 dpi, jpg) for free use of Ushuaia SHH…
e. Foreign films must submit certificate of qualification for public display: ATP - OVER 16 - OVER 13 years. G / PG / PG-13 / PG-13 / R / NC-17/NR or Unrated
f. Technical, Reviews, curriculum and filmography of director. In case that these items can not be sent in a download link through the submission form in the web site, you can send them via mail to info@shhfestival.com and/or festivalshh@gmail.com.
It’s a prerequisite for registration for the International Festival of Mountain Film Ushuaia SHH... that intellectual property rights and public exhibition of the work presented are the property of the registered participant.
The registered undertakes and warrants that it has all the rights and authority to display the material and there is no legal restriction, contractual or other nature that may restrict and/or interfering and/or prevent the broadest and free exercise by the organizers of those rights and which may arise directly or indirectly as provided above, particularly with respect to the authority of publicly displaying the works presented.
The registered undertakes to indemnify the organizers against any claim and/or prosecuted against the organizers for any third party directly or indirectly claiming that the rights in the work, violation and/or interfering and/or limit and/or any otherwise injure a trade name and/or brand and/or copyright and/or right of intellectual property of a third party.
We inform all participants that the films selected will be screened as part of the 15° edition of Ushuaia SHH... Festival in Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego during 2021, and might be used in general promotion of Ushuaia SHH... unless a written objection is submitted to the Organizer in the registration form. The festival pretends to develop with traditional cinema, virtual exposition at festival’s web site geobloqued for South América (Argentina, Bolivia, Brasil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Perú, Uruguay, Venezuela, Islas Malvinas, y Antártida) and/or drive-in cinema. Please make sure to authorize all or some of these modalities when submitting.
Ushuaia SHH... organizers reserve the right of selection of works to integrate the festival's program. The board will determine which section they belong, and establish the order and date of projection.
The organizers of the festival will select & appoint the jurors.
The Jury's decision is final.
All matters not covered by these regulations shall be resolved by the organizers, if unforeseen circumstances demand it.
Participating in the Ushuaia SHH... Festival implies knowledge and acceptance of all the points previously raised, terms and conditions proposed by the Organization.
