The Greater Columbus Convention Center (GCCC) is looking for film makers, animators and motion design artists to create video, animation and motion graphic content for their 60’ W x 7’H LED video wall which showcases video content 365 days a year, 24-hours a day. The video wall is located inside the convention center between the North and South Buildings in a highly-visible major Concourse providing access to both ends of the convention center as well as the main entrance off of High Street. The GCCC has over 1 million visitors each year.

The premier and presentation of awards for the top three videos and honorable mentions will be held at the GCCC Connector in front of a live audience on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. The initial festival hosted over 100 guests and offered food and beverages. This years event will offer a similar setting with local media covering the event.

Awards & Prizes

$5000 for First Prize, $2500 for Second Prize, $1000 for Third Prize, $500 for three (3) Honorable Mentions

Rules & Terms

Aspect Ratio is 9:1 or 4500px x 480px. NO OTHER ASPECT RATIO WILL BE ACCEPTED
Accepted Format: .mp4, H.264 codec. Audio is optional. Video's can be no longer that 2 minutes in length. The theme for creative content is OPEN with special consideration to themes relating to Columbus and Central Ohio. Content to be displayed should be “G” rated. A selection committee comprised of local professionals and art curators will judge all entries.
