    Uisdean is an award winning filmmaker from the Outer Hebrides of Scotland and has been making independent films and music videos for 20 years.
    His work includes the award winning Gaelic language short film Siubhlachan (The Traveller) which won Best Professional Film at the FilmG Awards and was developed into a half hour drama for BBC ALBA, the macabre Jemima Trilogy and the award winning supernatural comedy web series Demonologist For Hire. www.demonologistforhire.com
    Uisdean recently wrote, directed and edited Mara: The Seal Wife a tragic drama inspired by selkie folklore and filmed in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. The film premiered at the Hebrides International Film Festival in the summer of 2021 and has is currently enjoying a festival run where it has picked up many awards including Best Drama Short, Best Actress and Best Film Score at the MiraBan UK Film Awards. www.mara.film
