2026 UHD 4K Film Festival is a film festival for outstanding UHD contents (filmed in 4K) from around the world. Here are the submission guidelines

■ Quality: submitted films must be of high resolution UHD (4K)
- Resolution: 3840 X 2160
- Frame rate: 59.94P
- File format: mp4 (H.264 codec)
■ Sports Related Topics
-Documentaries, films (short films, omnibus style), web dramas, animation, etc
-Photography or time lapses are not accepted
■ Multiple submissions are allowed
■ Duration: all lengths are accepted

 Submission Deadline: Mar 31, 2026
 Film Judging : Apr 30, 2026
 Film Screening: May 31, 2026
 Award Show : May 31, 2026

■ Submission Requirements
 Entrants: anyone filming in UHD (4K) is welcome to submit
 Individuals or groups such as students, broadcast production companies, broadcast channel filmmakers, program directors are welcome to submit
※ Multiple submissions are allowed (no limit in quantity of submissions)

Awards & Prizes

Grand Prize 5,000,000 won - cash and award certificate and UHD-TV
Second Prize 3,000,000 won - cash prize and certificate
Third Prize 1,000,000 won per team- cash prize and certificate
Jury Prize 1,000,000 won- cash prize and certificate and UHD-TV
Challenge Prize 500,000 won per team - cash prize and certificate
Sponsorship Prize 500,000 won -cash prize and certificate

* 1 million won is roughly 800 US dollars (depends on the current exchange rate)

Rules & Terms

Films submitted to the UHD 4K Film Festival must have been primarily shot and captured in at least 4K resolution (with no more than 10% of the film up-converted from a lower resolution); and must be finished and delivered in 4K resolution (“quad HD” at 3840 * 2160, 60P, H264_mp4 format

 Entrants must not to infringe any third party copyrights. In case copyright infringement becomes a problem, awards may be cancelled.
 Selected submitted videos (award winning videos included) will be shown in Arthouse Momo Theater in Seoul, Korea
 By submitting works to the festival, the entrant hereby grants the broadcast rights to the host and organizers
※ Film copyright belongs to the entrant. In case the host or organizer wants to reproduce a video based on the entrant’s original work, he or she will be notified individually and details will be negotiated directly.
 Confirmed award winners must submit a copy of their original files separately.

By entering your film for consideration for the 2026 UHD 4K Film Festival, you authorize that your work is cleared for festival exhibition and accept full legal responsibility for the intellectual property therein. Entry into the festival constitutes permission to exhibit your work online at the 2026 UHD 4K Film Festival.

2026 UHD 4K Film Festival is also hereby granted the right to utilize an excerpt from any film submitted and accepted for exhibition at the Festival for promotional purposes. The undersigned shall indemnify and hold harmless 2026 UHD 4K Film Festival from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney’s fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered. 2026 UHD 4K Film Festival DOES NOT PAY SCREENING FEES. By submitting your film via FilmFreeway you acknowledge that the festival will not pay to present your work.
