Tyler Nicholas Totten was born February 3rd, 1990 in Louisville, Kentucky to Shirley (Dunn) who worked as an environmental engineer and Ed Totten, whom worked for the US Government is an American actor, producer and nominated, award-winning screenplay writer for his two episodic pilots, Derby City and Hook Em Horns (2025).
Totten was discovered in Louisville at the age of 20 by Chris (Kauffman) whom also represented actress Jennifer (Lawrence).
Totten Has been professionally trained and mentored by some of the best instructors in Los Angeles under the Konstantin (Stanislavski) method and Carey (Scott) in San Diego, California where he now resides with his production banner Dyna Stee N Tee.
Although beginning theater in Louisville, Kentucky at the age of 8, his on-camera career began after making his speaking debut during the Country Music Awards (2013) for a Blue Cross Blue Shield national commercial that gained a lot of attention while living in Nashville, Tennessee.
Shortly thereafter his on camera debut, he began landing more principal commercial roles, including a Toyota national commercial in (2014) before moving to California.
Up next, Totten can be seen on the festival circuit starring and co-producing the dramatic independent film, Numbers and Nonsense (2025).
