FESTIVAL STRUCTURE — Triumph International Film Festival

The Triumph International Film Festival is designed as a live, in-person theatrical film festival and awards platform that highlights excellence in filmmaking from both U.S. and international creators. Our structure ensures a smooth, transparent, and meaningful experience for all participating filmmakers and audiences.

1. Submissions & Eligibility

All films must be submitted exclusively through FilmFreeway.
Filmmakers may enter their work into one of our categorized divisions:

Films of any genre, budget, or style are welcome as long as they meet category requirements.

2. Review & Selection Process

After submission, each film undergoes a multi-stage review:

Stage 1: Pre-Screening

A programming team watches all entries to assess technical quality, creativity, and storytelling strength.

Stage 2: Jury Evaluation

Selected films are forwarded to our international jury panel, who evaluate:

Story and emotional impact

Artistic vision and originality

Direction and performances

Cinematography, sound, editing, and overall craft

Stage 3: Official Selections

Films chosen to represent the festival are announced as Official Selections on FilmFreeway and promoted on our website and social media.

3. In-Person Theatrical Screenings

The Triumph International Film Festival is structured as a live, in-person theatrical event held in Bedford, Texas, providing an authentic cinema-screening experience.

Official Selections will be screened at a professional theater venue before a live audience during the festival dates.

All screenings are presented in a curated theatrical program, grouped by category and runtime.

Filmmakers may also choose “Awards Consideration Only” if they prefer not to have their film publicly screened.

Screenings include feature films, short films, animation, and music videos from both U.S. and International categories.

4. Filmmaker Activities & Engagement

During the festival week, we offer a range of virtual experiences:

5. Nominee Announcement

After screenings conclude, the jury announces Nominees in each competitive category.

6. Awards Judging & Final Winners

The jury then determines winners in all U.S. and International categories.

Winners and select finalists will receive the opportunity for introduction and potential distribution consideration on the DYNOXE VOD platform, offering global exposure to their work.

1. General Eligibility

We accept films from all countries, in any language.

Non-English films must include English subtitles.

All genres are welcome: narrative, documentary, animation, experimental, student films, and more.

2. Submission Requirements

All submissions must be made through FilmFreeway.

Multiple submissions are allowed, but each film must be submitted separately.

Entry fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

Works-in-progress are accepted, but the final version must be delivered before the festival screening deadline.

3. Screening & Selection

Official Selections will be chosen by the festival programming team and will be screened on Sep 5th and 6th in festival venue (Bedford TX)

Not all selected films are guaranteed an in-person screening; some may be screened online or showcased as finalists only.

The festival reserves the right to determine the screening format, schedule, and venue.

4. Awards

All award decisions are final.

Some categories may not receive awards if there are insufficient submissions or the jury believes no film meets the category’s standard.

Laurels will be provided to all Official Selections, Finalists, Nominees, and Winners.

5. Exhibition Rights

By submitting, the filmmaker grants Triumph International Film Festival the non-exclusive right to:

Screen the film during the festival (in-person and/or online).

Use short clips, stills, poster images, and trailer material for festival promotion, social media, and marketing.

6. Ownership & Responsibility

The submitter must own all rights to the film and its content.

The festival is not liable for any copyright violations committed by entrants.

Films that include copyrighted music, images, or footage must have the proper licenses.

7. Filmmaker Attendance

Attendance is encouraged but not required.

Filmmakers selected for awards will be notified via email.

8. Online & Venue Regulations

If the festival includes an online component, filmmakers agree that their film may be available for limited-time virtual viewing by ticket holders or judges.

All in-person screenings will take place in Bedford, Texas (unless stated otherwise).

9. Revisions

The festival reserves the right to update rules, categories, deadlines, and awards at any time without prior notice.
