My NYU Thesis film, “Rest Stop,” premiered at the High Museum of Art and at the Atlanta Film Society's “Next Wave Filmmakers” series, receiving “Best Short" awards at the Atlanta, Chicago, Mill Valley, and San Francisco Film Festivals. It premiered on A&E’s “Short Stories” and was internationally broadcast throughout Europe by Jane Balfour Films, London.
The success of my NYU Thesis film, “Rest Stop,” was further validated by the recognition it received and I was able to direct and produce another film, “Her Choice.” I was honored with awards from Roy Dean Foundation, California Cultural Center, Georgia Council on the Arts, Fulton County Arts Council, Georgia Public Broadcasting, and Women In Film. I have worked on such films as “Zombieland 2: Doubletap , Netflix “Ozark”, Hulu’s “Tell Me Lies,” and AMC’s “The Walking Dead.” I am now working with actors here in Los Angeles for my screenplay, “Normaltown” at Second Draft LA.
