Since picking up the pen two years ago, Tom Newman has earned the Platinum Award for Best Screenplay at the Hispanic International Film Festival for his community heist drama Remain, and Best First-Time Screenwriter at Festigious Film Competition LA for his Dystopian Sci Fi, The Mist Beyond Our Window. He has written two features, two pilots and a short since 2024 across sci-fi, drama, musical and horror, each shaped by the real-world experiences he spent years navigating before turning to storytelling.
