Writer, Director and Filmmaker Tom Madden lives in Pittsburgh, Pa. A veteran of stage, film and television production, he serves as Executive Producer and Director of Asylum Entertainment. For the stage he has written and directed the original works, "Dance of the Moth" and "Scorn." Screenplays include the psychological horror film, "The Damned," which was a quarterfinalist at the PAGE INTERNATIONAL SCREENPLAY COMPETITION and a TOP 10 at the NICHOLL FELLOWSHIP, The terrifying micro budget thriller, SCORN, based on his stage play and quarterfinalist at the FINAL DRAFT BIG BREAK and has been optioned. Other screenplays include the teen comedy, "Two Girls Kissing," the baby boomer comedy, "Compass" and the crime thriller, "We The Jury." He has also written two big budget action adventure screenplays, the high octane heist flick, "Deep End" and the Honey West style, female driven action film, "Nine Lives." Short films include the crime thriller, "Case Closed," which won GOLD - BEST THRILLER at the Paris Film Fest and SILVER-BEST THRILLER at the Florence Film Awards. The dark comedy, EPILOGUE was nominated for Best Film, Screenplay, Editing and Actress at the PITTSBURGH 48 HOUR FILM PROJECT. ROAD TO NOWHERE is in preproduction as is, The Twilight Zone style thriller, "Pandora's Laptop." The web series, "Out In The Street." is currently in development.
