Tom is a Director of Photography who studied Cinematography at Hamburg Media School (Germany) under the supervision of Hark Bohm, Karl Walter Lindenlaub, Slawomir Idziak, Robby Müller, Vadim Yusov and many more.
As a passionate mountaineer, he already took part in various expeditions all around the globe.
In 2024, he met the well-known mountaineer Alix von Melle in Nepal, whose husband - Luis Stitzinger - had died in an accident on Kangchenjunga a year earlier.
They both decided to make a film about Alix fulfilling her deceased husband's last wish and scatter his ashes on the summit of a 7000m Peak
