Toby Levi was born in Dallas, Texas in 1995. Son of an Argentinian father and Costa Rican mother, they moved to Costa Rica two years later. His mother being a visual artist, Toby was interested in art since a young age. He painted and played guitar. At the age of 18 he enrolled in Communications college and realized his true passion was film, an art that combines all of the other skills he already had. He moved to Tel Aviv to go to the Tel Aviv University Film School. After almost 3 years, he moved back to Costa Rica and continued his studies at the Veritas University Film School. He won best Fiction Short Film for his short "Zembla" in 2019. In 2018 he began his own production company, Salado Pecado, focused on Music Videos.
