The Titan Film Festival, held at Westminster College in New Wilmington, PA, invites you to unleash your creativity and storytelling skills in our mini-movie competition! Whether you're a seasoned filmmaker or just starting, we want to see your thrilling stories come to life using your smartphone or DLSR camera.

Anyone is welcome to submit, not just students - we welcome community members as well.

Running Time: 5 minutes or less (not including credits).

Required Prop: Pasta. It must be included in the film as a scene element in the background or part of the narrative. We need to see it. However, feel free to be as creative as you like with it.

Pick or blend genres:
Supernatural (ghosts, magic, witchcraft, demons, angels, possession)
Aliens (all things extraterrestrial)
Eco-thriller (nature fights back, science gone wrong)
Monsters and Zombies
Cloak and Dagger (mystery, spy story)
Science Fiction

Note: Your film can loosely fit the genre, be a parody, a spoof, or an experimental work. Make it wild, outrageous or silly. The main goal is to tell a short, compelling story in 5 minutes or less.

SCREENINGS: OCTOBER 26 at 3 p.m. at Mueller Theater, McKelvey Campus Center, Westminster College, New Wilmington, PA

Family-Friendly Content:
Films must be suitable for all audiences.

Content Restrictions:
No more than 5% of the film can be stock footage, and such footage and its source must be cited in the credits.

No depictions of firearms or content that may trigger outrage or discomfort.

No extreme or gratuitous violence, hate speech, or discrimination.

Use appropriate language; avoid offensive, vulgar, or explicit content.

Intellectual Property and Promotion:
By submitting your film, you grant us the right to use it for promotional purposes related to the festival.

All entries become the shared intellectual property of WCN, The Holcad & Titan Radio.
Music used in entries must comply with federal copyright laws. Ensure you have written permission to use any music or utilize royalty-free music and sound effects.

Releases and Permissions:
Obtain necessary personal and location releases from individuals featured in your film, as well as from property owners or the locations themselves.

Judges' Discretion:
Our judges may disqualify entries that violate content restrictions or don't align with the festival's values. Their decisions are final, and no appeals will be considered.
