Thomas J. Hird is a 30 year old film maker from Sheffield England. Being a lover of books, comics, and of course television and film for as long as he can remember. Using his creativity to teach animation and film making for people who need support to live their lives, finding great pride in his students work and seeing how much this creative outlet meant to his students he decided once he had moved on from this job, that he would go back to education to get formal training to hone his creative skills to pursue his dream to be a film maker.
“There is something to be learned from a rainstorm. When meeting with a sudden shower, you try not to get wet and run quickly along the road. But doing such things as passing under the eaves of houses, you still get wet. When you are resolved from the beginning, you will not be perplexed, though you will still get the same soaking. This understanding extends to everything.”
