To me, film is the art of collaboration and connection. It's an exchange of ideas, an indirect dialogue. A meeting point between the filmmaker's / crew's intentions, the character's feelings, the texture of the film and the audience's experiences.
Thomas Brinck is a German filmmaker, born 1992 in Friedrichshafen.
In 2017, he received a BA in Multimedia and Communication, specialising in film, at the University of Applied Sciences Ansbach (Germany).
In 2019 he graduated with a MA in Film, Specialism Directing at Screen Academy Scotland, Edinburgh (Scotland).
Since he started his studies, he has gathered experiences on over 30 student and self-funded shorts (9 of which he directed), and worked professionally as a freelance gaffer and more recently as a director & AD on commercial- and corporate video shoots.
