I am Oya Obinidodo, a triple threat in the entertainment industry, hailing from the east coast. My unique background is a mix of Ivorian, Ghanaian, and Nigerian, which gives me a rich and diverse perspective on the world.
In 2022, I released my debut solo rap album 'Not your property'. It was a personal and empowering album that celebrated self-expression, self-worth, and the fight against societal oppression. The album was an instant hit, and my fan base has grown exponentially since then.
In 2024, I released my second solo album 'The Ruff Outdowz', which promises to be even more groundbreaking and inspirational than my first. Several songs from the album have already been released, including 'I gotta clean slate', which was nominated for best music video at a prestigious film festival. I'm extremely proud of this accomplishment, as it demonstrates the impact and versatility of my artistic expression.
In addition to music, I'm also passionate about film. In 2023, I released my first feature film entitled 'The Darkest Death'. This urban psycho thriller tells the gripping story of a young woman's struggle to survive life on the streets. It was a raw, gritty and deeply personal story that I had been wanting to tell for a long time. I'm honored that audiences and critics alike appreciated and resonated with my work.
In 2024, I directed and filmed 6 music videos including "Don't Wanna Be In Yo Squad", "On The East Coast" and "Telling A Fib Remix".
In 2025, I directed and film 4 music videos including "Black Candle", "One Shot", "Caviar Breeze" and "Alotta Hell In Me". I also directed a short film called 'Tent Of Terror'.
In 2026, I released my third solo album 'Solitary Movement'.
My journey in the entertainment industry has been challenging, but rewarding. I hope that my art and story will inspire and empower people from all walks of life to chase their dreams and never give up on their passions. I'm excited about what the future holds for me, and I can't wait to share more of my art with the world.
