LOCO London Comedy Film Festival is back with its usual great line-up of funny films and brilliant events for 2026. At LOCO, we're continuing to work hard to discover, develop, and screen the most original comedy films. This time round, we will be back at the historic Ritzy Picturehouse in Brixton, bringing the capital a riotous four days of side-splitting, mind-expanding cinema.
This year, for the first time, we're opening up to feature submissions. That's right - we'd love to fill our programme with exciting new feature films from the UK and beyond. If you have a comedy feature which you think will get us laughing and would be ripe for a London premiere at the historic Ritzy cinema, then get submitting! In past years, we've worked with such legends as Edgar Wright, Michaela Coel, and Sharon Horgan. We love to work with emerging filmmakers to help them launch their brilliantly funny films.
The festival will feature British premieres, comedy shorts, expert panels, workshops and networking events. There will be events to delight all comedy aficionados and creators. It may even be where you find your next gang of collaborators. LOCO is the perfect place to get your work in front of an audience and to excite the interest of industry experts.
If all of this sounds exciting to you, submit now. The window of opportunity is short: submissions are open till the end of the month. To qualify, a film must be at least 45 minutes long and must never have been shown at a LOCO festival before. Most importantly, it has to make us laugh.
