Kateri Esposito is a Writer, Director, Producer, and Score Composer based in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She fell in love with the medium of animation at a young age after watching many animated films that inspired her to seek the good in the world, in herself, and in others. She studied music and the arts at Young Musicians of Virginia until 2022, and then moved out to San Diego, California to study Animation and Screenwriting. She graduated in August of 2025 and earned "The Founder's Award for Impacting Culture" upon graduation.
Kateri strives to create narratives that are philosophical in nature, but intimate and childlike just like the films she watched when she was young. Her main inspirations for her work (outside of her own life) come from the works of Dante, Tolkien, Lewis, and Dostoevsky.
Kateri is currently a graduate student studying Film Producing & Management, while working on the side as a Story Developer, Score Composer, and Writer.
