General Timeline

Last Date for Submission: August 15
Award ceremony September 20 

Results will be announced live during the Award Ceremony.

Categories

Docu – 3-minute documentary
Shorts – 2-minute fiction/experimental
Reels – 1-minute vertical video

Entry fee - 20 dollars for each submission. (Last date June 30)
Late Fee - 30 dollars for each submission.(Last date August 15 )
Eligibility

Open to all

Equipment Guidelines

Mobile phone filmmaking is encouraged and preferred for all categories.
You may use basic equipment like tripods, gimbals, clip-on mics, or ring lights.
Professional cameras are allowed but not mandatory – creativity matters more than gear.
Editing can be done on any mobile or desktop software.

Submission Guidelines

Language: Any (subtitles in English )
Format: MP4 (preferably 1080p, )
Submit via: Film freeway 

Creative Guidelines

Original Content only – plagiarism or copied content will be disqualified.

Music must be royalty-free or original.
No hate speech, offensive, or explicit content allowed.
Reel must be optimized for Instagram-style engagement (vertical, quick impact).
Shorts must have a clear story arc.
Documentaries should showcase real subjects and facts (even in creative styles).

Time Limits (Strict)

Docu: Max 3:00 minutes
Shorts: Max 2:00 minutes
Reels: Max 1:00 minute
(Exceeding the time limit may lead to disqualification)

Multiple Submissions

Participants may submit entries to more than one category (Docu, Shorts, Reels).
However, only one entry per category per participant is allowed.
Group members or students can collaborate on one project and still submit individually in another category.

A student can submit a solo reel, and also be part of a group for a documentary.

Jury Panel

Entries will be judged by a distinguished panel of film professionals, including directors, cinematographers, editors, and storytellers from the film industry.

Final Notes

Selected films will be screened at the closing ceremony.
Winning entries will receive certificates, awards, and a chance to be featured on official platforms.
The organizers reserve the right to use the submitted films for educational and promotional purposes with credit to the creators.
