Roll out the red carpets as The CAMH’s teen council is hosting a film showcase
and award ceremony on Thursday April 17th. The CAMHIES are an Oscars themed film festival highlighting the young filmmaking community emerging in Houston. Work will be sorted into categories including; documentaries, animation, creative short films, music videos, and mixed media which will be eligible for awards chosen by the people. This event will be followed by a mixer, giving the artists and viewers time to socialize; fostering connections in the emerging film landscape of Houston. This event will have an optional formal dress code and food will be provided.
