Terry Costa is a multidisciplinary artist. Born in Canada to Azorean-Portuguese parents. Director, producer and manager of artistic projects in Canada and the USA in the 90s and 2000s. He led theater companies UNI Theater (1997-2001) in Ontario and AQT Vancouver (2002-2006) in British Columbia. He founded SPACES Performance Art Gallery in the city of Vancouver, which he managed during its first year, with a weekly audience of +10,000 visitors. Costa has produced, staged and presented hundreds of theater, music and dance events. His theatrical play “69 Moments of Life” reached 22 cities around the world. In 2011 he decided to make his parents' land his residence: Pico - Azores. He founded MiratecArts in 2012 with the aim of promoting the Azores with art and artists. In 2021, he founded Néveda Ent., a publishing house dedicated to illustrated books and stories based on islands.

For television: Costa worked as a freelance producer and correspondent for Rogers/RTPi and the show Canada Contacto from 2005-2010; he was the consultant and story-developer for Mosaico TV (2006-2007) and was on the Western Canada team for Canadian Idol (CTV/Insight) from 2003 to 2008. Other work includes television specials Anne Murray Duets, Gemini Awards, Cirque du Soleil and Ontario Live. Costa also produced work that turned TV show: 9 episodes of How Far Will You Go (OutTV/Here) and the special Mr Gay Canada (2009).

Film/Vídeo: producer of documentaries: ATLANTES (2013), and CORDAS (2022) that reached over 300 festivals in 66 countries; film producer: Lutajuci oceanom (Croatia/Portugal, 2022); First Date (Portugal, 2025).
