Terah Hensley is a documentary filmmaker and a writer of screen dramas and narrative nonfiction.
She spent many years as a public school teacher before deciding to work full time on her first book, Peace Together, which captures the true story of an Army nurse and a medic who met and fell in love while working at the same hospital in Vietnam during the war. Terah traveled to Vietnam with the veterans at the completion of the book and produced a short documentary, by the same name, about their return to Vietnam to face their pasts.
Terah has a Master of Fine Arts degree in creative writing from Full Sail University.
She lives in Central Florida with her husband and two sons. Together, they travel the world collecting memories, artifacts, a few stitches here and there, and best of all … stories.
