Taz Lake is an Atlanta-based novelist and award-winning screenwriter celebrated for his genre-defying storytelling and high-concept narratives. As the son of a career Marine, his exposure to varied cultures and a diverse educational background yields relatable, authentic characters who occupy interesting worlds accessible to broad audiences. A two-time second-rounder in the Austin Film Festival screenplay competition, he has also placed in the top 2% at Shore Film Fund and was a finalist at both DC Shorts and Sidewalk Film Festival. Additionally, he was a quarterfinalist at the Oscar-qualifying HollyShorts Film Festival. In his third act after a multi-decade technology career, Taz collaborates with directors, producers, and other writers to craft stories that captivate and inspire.
