Thai Nouvelle Vague
Tanaseth Tulyathan is an independent film director, producer, and writer. His work explores displacement and the search for belonging through the lives of marginalized and underrepresented communities. He first gained recognition through music videos and commercials, with his work recognized by the Atlanta Film Festival, SCAD Savannah Film Festival, the Emmys, the Telly Awards, and the UKMVA. His narrative short film, Morlam, premiered at the Newport Beach Film Festival, Shanghai International Film Festival, and Vancouver Asian Film Festival. He is currently developing his debut feature film, The Chameleon Woman, which has been selected for the Asian Project Market (BIFF), Produire au Sud SEA, and the TIFF Filmmaker Lab (TIFF), as well as an upcoming short film, Four Silver Bars.
