I am Nguyen Khac Hiep, a film director in Vietnam, purely pursuing art. My desire is to learn and expand my knowledge to strengthen my own style, telling stories through metaphor and absolute aesthetics. Currently, I am studying in China, followed by Europe, to build a solid foundation before making a truly large-scale film about the culture, beliefs, and history of my country, Vietnam. It will serve as a visual dictionary, with the hope of guiding future generations. Vietnam is a developing country, progressing towards becoming a developed nation. Each country has its own unique characteristics, and there have been periods when cinema hasn't received the attention and focus it deserves. But that doesn't mean that those who love the art of cinema, like us, don't exist. We diligently observe, learn, and experience a wide range of emotions while making films. I hope my efforts will find and touch a certain divine being. So that I can complete this meaningful journey of my life.
