Tamam Sharrack, an emerging filmmaker passionate about exploring diverse genres and styles in cinema. Raised between two cultures—my roots in Aleppo and life in Turkey—I bring a unique perspective to my work, which spans comedy, drama, and social themes. For me, filmmaking is a powerful way to engage audiences, whether it’s through laughter, reflection, or evoking empathy.
Currently studying Radio, Television, and Cinema at Hasan Kalyoncu University, I am developing my skills in scriptwriting, directing, and visual storytelling. My academic journey has reinforced my commitment to using cinema as a tool to connect with people on both an emotional and intellectual level, and to inspire them to view life through new lenses.
As a filmmaker, my aim is to reach people by creating stories that are relatable and thought-provoking. I am interested in working across genres, from the humor of everyday life to stories that delve into more profound topics. With each film, I strive to combine creativity with meaningful content, pushing my boundaries and experimenting with new techniques.
