Taja Copeland is a director, writer, cinematographer, and editor. She is a Morgan State University Alumna since 2022. Taja formed her own film club at Morgan State called Underground Studios, which grew to have over 50 members their first year. Underground Studios then had their first Annual film festival, 'Submerged', where Taja's film, "The Death of Us", won the Judges Choice Award. Taja won the Telly Award for directing Under Armour's To be Seen, To be Heard, To be Celebrated campaign in 2022.

Taja continues to make short films with substantial meaning.
