TRILLVISION Film Festival is an innovative, hybrid event—held both in-person in Los Angeles, CA and virtually—that brings together short filmmakers, critics, and audiences from around the world. Although this is our inaugural year, this marks our second event, showcasing short films under 40 minutes across a wide range of genres.

With a strong focus on diversity, inclusivity, and global accessibility, the festival features curated screenings, engaging panel discussions, and opportunities for filmmakers to receive valuable feedback from industry professionals—empowering them to refine their craft and grow as storytellers.

As streaming platforms, social media, and mobile-first viewing continue to shape the future of short films, TRILLVISION is positioned at the forefront of this evolution. We aim to not only spotlight emerging trends but also serve as a launchpad for filmmakers aspiring to build lasting careers in the industry.

At its heart, the TRILLVISION Film Festival is about community. Through interactive events and meaningful conversations, participants can connect directly with peers and professionals. The TRILLVISION experience fosters collaboration, sparks new projects, and builds lasting relationships—making it the ideal space to celebrate the latest in short filmmaking and support the growth of creators around the globe.

  • TRILLVISION Film Festival was a great festival experience that we took so much away from. There is a unique festival voice and niche that this fest takes up. It was well organised and included some great films from a wide cross section of filmmaking voices. We especially enjoyed the fact that the films were so entertaining but also covered some serious subject matter without being too overt about it, films that made us laugh, cry and squirm all at once.

The panels were so very interesting and the moderators (and organisers and attendees) were incredibly well-informed and well-connected. While other festivals touch the basics - directors, actors, etc
    - this fest went a step above, covering everything from discussing urban films to chatting with real-life comics and poets, which made so much sense to us as it unfolded. It was such a beautiful, new world to be a part of for a few days.

The fact that the festival also has IMDb qualifying status is fantastic. This is a can't miss event moving forward and we are truly grateful to have been a part of the very first one. We are also incredibly grateful for our awards. Thank you!

  • It was great to be a part of the inaugural TRILLVISION Film Festival where our film Triggered 2.0 was given its worldwide streaming premiere and won the jury award for Best Visual Effects. The Festival hosted a number of online opportunities to network, watch fellow filmmakers works, and be interviewed which are all a great way to build in this industry. I look forward to submitting more projects in the future 🙌🏾
