1. Tijuana Vertical Film Festival
1.1 Short film festival exclusively in 9:16 vertical aspect ratio.
The objective of this festival is to disseminate and discuss the works of professional and amateur filmmakers, as well as the general public, towards this pocket cinema format.
1.2 Short films produced before 2021 and may have been previously presented on the Internet or at another festival.
1.3 The MAXIMUM duration must not exceed 6 (Six) minutes including credits.
1.4 The festival aims to support the development, research, and promotion of works by local artists internationally.
1.5 The same director may present the number of works that he deems appropriate.

4. By submitting a work, the applicant gives consent for the inclusion of the film in the contest and/or its exhibition at the Vertifilms festival, for screening and promotion - dissemination of the same.
4.1 The Applicant, by submitting an application, confirms that his or her work does not contradict the legislation of the applicant's country of origin nor the Mexican legislation and/or the legislation of the respective country where the festival takes place, as well as the related competition regulations with this. application and that under his responsibility the applicant consents to the public presentation of his work.
4.2 The applicant attests to the originality of the work, whether the natural or legal person and is the owner of the rights to use the cinematographic work, including works protected by copyright and audiovisual artistic interpretations used in it, as well as the producer of the audiovisual. rights and the recorded cinematographic work.

4.3 The applicant confirms that the festival organizer is exempt from any liability related to the violation of the moral rights and/or other rights of any person mentioned in the film and/or to whom the film is in any way related. In the event of violation of these rights for inclusion in the film festival and/or development of any requirements as a result of screening at the festival, all consequences will be borne solely by the film applicant.
4.4 The Applicant grants consent to the festival to use the material sent for the dissemination, promotion and/or screening of the film in other countries.

5.5 The applicant confirms that the festival organizer is exempt from any liability related to the violation of the moral rights and/or other rights of any person mentioned in the film and/or to whom the film is in any way related. In the event of violation of these rights for inclusion in the film festival and/or development of any requirements as a result of screening at the festival, all consequences will be borne solely by the film applicant.
5.6 5.7 The organizer reserves the right to exclude films with extreme length from the selection.
5.8 There is no legal right to screen a film.
5.9 The number of films included in the competition is not limited.
