Susan Wasserman is an award-winning producer with credits spanning television, film, and live performance. Her work includes PBS’s Heart 411 Cleveland Clinic, The Whole Heart Solution, and the Emmy-nominated American Black Journal documentary Detroit Then and Now. She served as co-executive producer for The Signal and Sundance-premiered The Kings of Summer, and produced/directed Culture Fix CLE: Healing Our Community Through the Arts. Susan has also produced commercial projects for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Abbott Vascular Women’s Heart Health, and Beaumont Hospital, and is a producer on the upcoming thriller Buddy. Her credits also include Telly, Davey and Communicator Awards for various broadcast programs.
In addition to producing, Susan has judged for the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, directed stage plays and co-chaired the Mandel Jewish Film Festival for the past four years. One of her highest honors is being invited by the Cultural Israel Consulate to attend the International Music Showcase Festival in Israel, as a delegate from the United States.
