Born Skeitha Richards aka Summer Angel in 1982, was born in a small town call Linstead St. Catharine, on the island of Jamaica . Summer Migrated to the United States at the early ages of five. Mother, Ephron Dyce and father, Donovan Richards an artist himself and song writer, always knew their daughter had something special about her inside and out. As a young girl, her father would lift little Summer Angel on stages were she would perform for the community at local events. She linked up with producer Billy Slata who influenced her writing and style of music (roots and cultural, Reggae) in New York where she began her dream, to become an entertainer while she attended Evander Childs high school in the Bronx
