For competition selections, works produced between 2019 and 2022 are considered.
There is no limit to the number of films that can be submitted per director.
Productions that include members of the STUFF Mx organizing committee in their team or cast are not eligible to compete.
Films that have already participated in previous editions of STUFF MX are not eligible.
For short films, the maximum length is 25 minutes and a minimum of 1 minute per film.
For feature films, the maximum duration is 180 minutes and a minimum of 60 minutes per film.
A registration fee is required.
The registration period begins with the publication of this call for entries and ends on August 15, 2022.
In order to register, it is essential that the participant has the economic and exhibition rights of the work.
Registration of the work does not guarantee its selection or exhibition.
HE 2023 INTERNATIONAL SCREENING SEASON.
Films, short films, documentaries and animations that wish to be considered for the different thematic screenings may be submitted through the call for entries.
Films, short films, documentaries, music videos and animations entered in the official competition may be invited to participate in any of these sections, at the discretion of the participants.
EXHIBITION
For the competition selections, films and short films in Spanish must have an English subtitled version. Likewise, films or short films in English must have a version with Spanish subtitles; films in languages other than those mentioned above must have a version with English and Spanish subtitles.
All the works of the official selection will be exhibited in person and/or virtually on the official platforms of Stuff Mx depending on the corresponding authorization of the health authorities of Mexico, the country where Stuff Mx takes place.
REGISTRATION.
Registration for STUFF Mx VI is done through the FilmFreeway or Festhome platforms.
All materials are evaluated by specialists, academics, filmmakers and animators chaired by the Stuff Mx Programming Department and the organizing committee.
To be considered, films, documentaries and short films must be submitted in the following manner.
Register the work on the selected platform from the date of publication of this call for entries until August 20, 2021.
Read and accept the conditions of participation stipulated in the call for entries and in the terms and conditions.
SELECTION
No participant can make the announcement of their official selection before the Stuff Mx Film Festival, by doing so, the user will be disqualified from the competition.
To complete the selection process, those selected will have to send the materials requested by the email sent by the organizing committee, fill out the forms and the corresponding authorizations.
Once the process is completed, those selected will receive a file with the corresponding laurels indicating that they are an official selection.
