David Yama is a filmmaker based in the Greater Seattle Area. He attended the University of Washington's Cinema and Media Studies program, where he formed a creative partnership with Vanessa Ouch. Together, they founded Still Pic Productions, an independent film production company.
David's journey began with academic achievements and a daring spirit. He lived aboard historical tall ships at the age of 15, cultivating a love for adventure and storytelling. In collaboration with Vanessa, he now creates films, comedy sketches, and a podcast focusing on the Seattle Grunge scene.
Through Still Pic Productions, David and Vanessa bring their collective talents to the forefront. With a commitment to pushing boundaries and leaving a lasting impact, David continues to explore new avenues in the world of independent filmmaking, infusing his unique perspective and storytelling flair into each project.
