Catch the Light in Your Smile

Catch the light in your smile
Come along for a while
Kitten got shiningly bitten
By morning, she was smitten
Photons jiggle as stock prices rise!
Can physics always beguile?
The speed of light caught by a mitten
Such things leave me struck- a given.
Ride the light's shaft, in style
Sunrise dew drops onto leaf piles
Lush liquid light - the rivers are hidden
Dr Spock's Starship Enterprise warp-driven
Light glances playfully on roof tiles
Prances effortlessly, gutter shy guile
Penetrates darkness probingly bidden
Sun god bequeaths what must be heaven
Luxurious rays bath us; warmth, so alive
Gorgeous teasers the clouds pass us by
Warmth bathes and cleanses the night-time demon
Shadows rise in tangos with bright figurines even
Gladiatorial combat: Dark vs. Light
Eternally fencing toward the last spike
"Dark matter or star bursts?" asked Kitten
"Look deep inside," answered her cousin
Lights first emission, a Big Bang-o-phile
Clumped universal rhythms, we try to file
What makes us be; Not Armageddon
We are all Nature's cousins, hitch-hikers well-trodden
Light's innocence flushes, miracles hail!
Birds singing sweetly, morning prevails
So we might live as naive, never forgotten
Holding golden gleams and sparkles often
