When I write a picture, my first thought is, "What timeless human question can be treated in a manner that disrupts the canon of film and becomes a major motion picture event?"
Sterling Davis is a screenwriter and director based in Anaheim, California, whose work probes the dark side of politics and human nature. His high-concept political thriller, Let There Be Blood, has won five accolades thus far, including this year at the Prague Film Festival, where it was an Official Selection. He has studied screenwriting, art history, and politics, and writes films that dramatize Machiavellian characters and suspenseful grabs at power. As a child, he read and reread Macbeth. Now, he writes edgy political thrillers where his characters won't stop at anything to achieve their ambitions.
