"Love all, trust a few"
Italian-born Director Stefano Di Pietro approached the world of film through music and documentary filmmaking, making several scores and writing and directing documentaries on social issues such as Racism, Social Inclusion, and Education produced by Anne Frank House, EU-Russia Civil Society, Borussia Dortmund among others. His first fiction short film "Accepted" was produced in 2018-2019 and won several awards globally between 2020 and 2021 including the Berlin Independent Film festival 2021.
For his first feature Documentary "War on education", he interviewed the current Minister of Education of Ukraine Oksen Lisovyi and many other scholars about Education and the cultural origin of the current conflict in Ukraine. "War on education" is globally distributed by Off The Fence and will be released on February 24th 2024.
