Kamki Diengdoh, a 2003 Mass Communication graduate from St. Anthony’s College, is a now a prominent figure in the visual storytelling landscape of Meghalaya. His journey is defined by humility and unwavering dedication, reflected in his diverse roles as a director of photography, editor, producer, and director.
As a communication specialist, Kamki has left an indelible mark on the Government of Meghalaya, with his production house, State of Mind Productions, proudly serving as an empaneled firm for various government and semi-government collaborations.
His creative repertoire spans music videos, documentaries, and public service messages. Notably, Kamki has significantly contributed to Meghalaya Tourism, producing films that showcase the state's natural beauty, rich culture, and unique assets to boost tourism.
While his professional journey has been marked by diverse projects, Kamki's true passion lies in fiction. This passion materializes in experimental shorts like ‘The Last Monologue’ and ‘Magic’. He has also co-directed the 30-minute short film ‘Nongshun (Enemy)’ and contributed as a DOP and screenwriter for the full-length feature ‘Ka Chithi’. Kamki aspires to thrive further in the realm of fiction, adding depth and creativity to his already impressive body of work.
