Has a twin brother named Vjatseslav. In 1994, Stas (Stanislav) and Slava (Vjatseslav) were selected for the prestigious Kantilena male choir, where they studied vocal skills and toured European cities. When most of their peers did not even have documents, the brothers were already exchanging their first passports for new ones because they ran out of space for entry and exit border stamps. Stas and Slava will sing in Kantilena until 2001. The brothers were real hooligans in their teenage years. They were both expelled from several schools for bad behavior and had run-ins with the police for minor offenses. In 2005, at the age of 18, Stas and Slava founded their first rock band, Rockcrime. Stas was on bass guitar, Slava was on lead guitar. In 2006, by luck, the brothers took part in the Eurovision 2006 qualifying competition from Estonia and took 3rd place. In 2009, Stas and Slava left Rockcrime and founded their second band, Cantilena. The band performs mainly in Estonia. Sometimes it was possible to travel abroad to neighboring countries: Russia, Finland, Lithuania, and Latvia. The most outstanding achievements were joint performances with such rock monsters as Sepultura (2012) and Phil Anselmo (Pantera) & The Illegals (2014). By the way, if this can be considered an achievement, Cantilena once performed in the same city in the evening with Metallica and the guys even had an audience! Between 2009 and 2020, the group gave 84 concerts, released an EP album "Metallinn" (2010), recorded a full-length album "Violent Peace" (2012), and shot 4 videos for their songs. In 2019, Stas was casting for Christopher Nolan's film "Tenet", some of the episodes of which were planned to be filmed in Tallinn. Stas gets the role of a "public" in the concert hall, where the film begins. After unforgettable days on the set with cinema monster Christopher Nolan, Stas gets the idea to write his own movie... His dramatic script "Safe Waters" is available for request on the InkTip platform.
