Sozo Bear Presents: A Night at the Movies is an annual showcase of short live action and animated narrative films from around the world. Curated and presented by Dahlonega's very own Sozo Bear Films, the festival aims to bring great independent films to the North Georgia area. As the name suggests, A Night At The Movies is a one-night event that includes a red carpet photo-op, live Q&As with actors and filmmakers, and great films shown on the silver screen in the historic Holly Theatre in Downtown Dahlonega, Georgia.
Doors open and Red Carpet photos begin at 7:00pm. Show starts at 8:00pm.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There are a number of parking options available for shopping, dining and playing in downtown Dahlonega. In addition to the convenient 275 parking spaces on and surrounding the Public Square, downtown Dahlonega maintains three free parking lots with 140 spaces just a short walk to the Holly. The two free parking lots at the intersection of Meaders Street and Choice Street are conveniently located near the Dahlonega Visitor Center. Another great option is the parking deck located at University of North Georgia right behind the Holly Theatre.
