Born in Yokohama, in 1991. Sota Takahashi started filmmaking during high-school years in Melbourne. Graduated from Tokyo Zokei University, he worked in events producing company for 5 years. During working, he continued making film as a life work.
In 2013, his semi-documentary film, “Patched, Piled” was selected in 11th Festival International SIGNES DE NUIT.
In 2018, his fiction film, “Echoing Your Sound” was selected 20th Mito Short Film Festival.
Since April 2020, he entered Graduate School of Film and New Media, Tokyo University of the Arts.
