Midlands-based director, specialising in Magical Realism. Her key credits include 'Lacuna' (made through the Amazon Prime Video & NFTS Directors Workshop), 'A Different Place' (BFI NETWORK funded, with festival selections including VIFF, BFI Flare, Flatpack, Norwich, This Is England, KASHISH Mumbai and many others), and 'Night Owls' (which premiered at LSFF).
She directed her series debut in 2023 – the season two finale of the popular fantasy web series 'Ren: The Girl With The Mark' – and she was director’s shadow on 'Sanctuary: A Witch’s Tale' for AMC Studios and Sundance Now, as well as shadowing on series two of BBC’s 'Boarders'.
In addition, Sophie is the founder of the production company Triskelle Pictures, through which she produced the BAFTA-longlisted short film 'Stop/Eject', and 'Good Grief', featuring Vicky McClure, which premiered at Slamdance.
