Born in December 2004, Somyung has always been captivated by cinema, particularly classical art films from around the globe. Homeschooled from kindergarten through high school, his passion for storytelling was shaped by the works of legendary filmmakers like Satyajit Ray, Alfred Hitchcock, Francis Ford Coppola, Peter Jackson, and more.

At just 18, Somyung embarked on his first film project, "KIRAN (A Ray of Light)," inspired by true events and brought to life with the help of local, first-time actors. Shot on real locations, the film captures the authenticity and heart of the community.

Somyung's dream is to create films that transcend borders and unite people worldwide as one family. His mission? To inspire global audiences to smile, enjoy, and dream together for a more connected and hopeful future.
