The Slavic International Film Festival (SIFF) seeks to illuminate the rich tapestry of Slavic cultures through the art of filmmaking. Eligibility: Open to filmmakers of Slavic heritage or films centered on Slavic themes.
Film Length: Documentaries and short films should not exceed 30 minutes.
Language: Films can be in any language but must include English subtitles if not in English.
Submission Form: Complete online including film title, director's name, contact information, and a brief synopsis.
Director's Statement: Include a statement detailing the film's relevance to Slavic cultures and its intended impact.
Selection Committee: Films will be reviewed by a panel of industry experts and community members.
Criteria: Films will be judged based on creativity, storytelling, technical excellence, and cultural authenticity.
Notification: Filmmakers will be notified of their acceptance status by September 6.
Rights and Permissions
Screening Rights: Filmmakers must grant the festival the right to screen their films during the festival period.
Promotional Use: Filmmakers agree to the use of clips and stills from the film for promotional purposes related to the festival.
